Welcome to my electronic file cabinet in Cyberspace.
This is an electronic file cabinet that catalogs some of my engineering reports in the past few years. It originally consisted of technical notes, pictures, references, and other data that I had compiled during the design and construction phase of the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, Long Island, New York.
Later on, I added some of the work that I had done for the Atlas Barrel Cryostat, currently the largest volume particle detector in the world. Funded by various countries under an international collaboration of scientists and professional experts, it is now installed and getting ready to collect scientific data at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at Cern in Geneva, Switzerland.
Yes, this page will be "under construction" continuously. I plan to add more and more files as the design and construction of the current project that I am involved in, the National Synchrotron Light Source - II (NSLS-II) at Brookhaven National Laboratory, evolves.
As a convenience for easy reference whenever I needed to look back at some of my previous work, I started compiling these notes when the WWW was still at its infancy. It turned out, however, that the web, indeed, has made sharing of ideas faster and easier beyond anyone's expectations.
